From the state where Hemingway hunted and fished and the city where Roethke wrote about his family greenhouse, Andrew Leamon resides. Though he has only started writing one and a half years ago, he is only beginning his writing career. In his spare time, Andrew loves to surround himself with friends and watch movies or listen to music. His poetic influences range from Billy Collins to Theodore Roethke to Charles Bukowski. He is in his second year at Western Michigan University majoring in business, but will be going for a creative writing minor. Hopefully, Andrew will be featured in literary journals and magazines and have his pieces published in his very own chapbook.
