RV Escatron; 1978. is a bachelor-at-large and a perpetual wanderlust.

He was awarded fellowships in poetry in the Iligan National Writers’ Workshop, University of the Philippines Visayas Creative Writing Workshop and Faigao Annual Writers’ Workshop of Cebu.

He is an erstwhile corporate bloke in Makati and Cebu; taught Language Arts in the Primary Grades at PAREF Springdale Private School for Boys; at present, he coordinates the Outdoor Adventure Education Programme of The Philippine Mobile School of DKEC-Gandhi School of Korea.

He shuttles between Dumaguete, Tagbilaran and Cebu and holds temporary residence in Valencia town (in the foothills of Mt. Cuernos de Negros) near Dumaguete City.
