Born to a single mother in West Africa. Enjoyed my childhood until civil war broke out in 1989. A war that lasted for fourteen years. Fortunately, my family along with other families were granted amnesty by the US Government and we were moved to Golden Valley Minnesota. This has now become my second home away from home. A started writing when I received my first diary from an aunt. I remember it was a gift from her to me for my first Christmas. And slowly words started to dance around in my head and I just wrote them down as they came. I enjoy all types of music and being a mom to my little Abigail who is now four. This is my little story a humble African girl who is just inspire by everyday events.
