Francesco Giusti lives in L'Aquila, where he took a degree in European Literature with a work on the contemporary response to 'Beowulf' and another on the response to 'Odissey' in Derek Walcott's 'Omeros'. Now he is specializing in Comparative Studies in the same University. He is interested in American, English and Italian literature of the XXth Century. He published essays on Charles Reznikoff, Pedro Pietri, Ted Hughes, Francesco Rivera, Heather McHugh and others.
