The poem Bomb has force through the choice of strong metaphor and poetic competence, but the final effect is one of desuetude and impotence. Corso could have put his talent to better use by adding his support and talent (making it more literal and comprehensible) , to a group or party opposed to the Bomb, a party that is for the people, the common people, whom Corso, in his poem, too eagerly writes off as doomed.

pedantic note on the Gregory Corso biography- para 2 gives his father's name as Sam Corso; para 3 gives his father's name as Gary'fortunato' Corso; which is it?
