Oh Michael, what stories one can find in a Cemetery, this is a great write, sad and funny at the same time. It make's one think 'what are cemeteries coming to' that life takes over this solemn plot. Spike had some wonderful lines to give us. Love Ernestine XXX
This is fun to read...and might be a good challenge for all of PH to write a poem about our own epitaph. The ones you quoted are funny. I've seen some hilarious ones in Boothill in Tombstone, Arizona. Raynette
Spike wanted 'I told you I was ill..' on his tombstone but it wasn't allowed.
Great poem! Inspired by the comic I assume... Pigeons 'Tis due to pigeons That alight On Nelson's hat That makes it white'. -Spike Milligan
I absolutely loved this. Yes, it really is our last encore, isn't it? May as well make someone laugh, or dance...
