(1) All Things Must Pass

Like voices drifting in a corridor
Like the sea swishing in ebb tide
Like a diaphanous sun drooling listlessly
In the mid western sky
Like a deflocculating asteroid
In the earth’s atmospherics
Like withering leaves
In an autumn embrace
Like a necklace of bleeding
Stars in space
The evanescence of time
Emblazons its hieroglyphic signature
And passes on

A sachet full of beautiful similes mostly metaphysical covering the three entities of nature Earth, Water and Sky…and pictographic imagery to deconstruct time… and its engraved emblems on human life and universe….only a great poet can speculate and create such lines…and this is you…very impressive and intellectual…..
As Robert Frost once wrote, 'Nothing gold can stay'. But moments can be captured and held forever in the landscapes of the mind. Beautiful write, Leonard. Warm regards, Sandra
