14 Squares Of A Grid

A section of sky: lapis lazuli
Lower down, to the left, a pinprick of light
Up and up, a brighter, lighter blue; see
To the right, a faint trail from an aircraft

A vague shadow of a cell window
A light appears across the yard

The cold hangs in the space; lower right
And lower-left confirms the sharpness in the air
Through a square it blows, almost whistling
Through another, almost singing

And a piece of censored papers flaps
From one square to another. Flap

In the middle, left quadrat there is black
A shade of red suggests the sun
