(..................14sept3) The Flow Of Time

The days leapfrog
over one another
to get to the end of the week.

This is better
than when the days
were sunk in quicksand
and could scarcely move.

But how do you get
the days to
just stand still
and relax?

Well, since you asked....you could sit or lie down for starters... Cheers. Subroto
Very finely drawn. it is our choice to be restless or bored. The question is how to take charge of the choosing. Very thought provoking.
The truth, so poetically expressed. What a wonderful poem!
I think it's more a personal thing of standing still and relaxing oneself... but ye gods, again, you latch onto and put so succinctly and poetically something for which I have chastised myself so many times - that whole wishing time away thing. Sometimes I stand still and relax and realise I am carpe diem-ing (if you see what I mean which you will) . The rest of the time... like this. And yes - the leapfrogging or the quicksand - where is the middle ground? Loud and clear, Max. Loud and clear. Fab. t x
