~5pm On Eko Bridge~

Poem By Sita Madu Wynn

Traffic jam,
On Eko bridge,
A sudden slap,
As she is taken unawares.

She wails? my gold chain'
Catch him, catch am! !
She steps out,
Leaving her car door ajar.

Shout's of 'olee, olee'
thief, thief? Fill's the air,
As he jumps,
Into the Lagoon.

Gold and all,
And disappears like a fish,
Would I wear my gold in Lagos?

Always remember God is by your Side,
Guiding You through that steep Hill,
While you let him do his Will.
