A Balanced Love

Poem By Tex T Sarnie

I want you to love me
as much as I love you.

So we can be as one,
to have the same dreams
and make them come true.

So we can equally share
the extremes of our love,
the highs, lows, and blue.

So when we are apart
you will hurt and miss me
as much as I do for you.

So when I feel insecure
and my heart is aching
you will feel it too.

Comments about A Balanced Love

Well expressed thoughts and feelings nicely brought forth from the heart. Lovely and very passionate. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
Very nice poem. Love with sincerity and deep feeling presented, Without going overboard, into tempestuous waters, artificially agitated and pretended. Well worth reading and remembering.
Love on an even keel, oh it's a good idea! Well justified. But sadly, love walks on its own course, unconcerned about anyone's desire or dictation. Appreciate your nice poem.

True Love But Painful

I know about all your faults and silly idiosyncrasies,
but I accept them because I love you.
I know you love yourself more than you love anyone else
and think that you are God's gift, but I still love you.

I Miss You

Are you sitting by the fire in your favourite armchair?
Are your eyes tightly closed imagining that I'm there?
Are your fingers running through your hair like I used to do?
Is your memory taking you back to the way I used to love you?

I Need Help

Who is going to help me when my mind
crosses over to the dark side again?
I need someone who can help and guide me
to escape this horrific frightening pain.

Returning Home

On a warm midsummer evening I was returning home.
A light breeze wafted through the Jasmine filled air,
which made the early hours walk more pleasurable
whilst the new moon brought brightness to everywhere.

Inner Demons

As far as I can remember
I never experienced demons as a child.
I think they began at the age of puberty,
and ever since they've driven me wild.
