A Barrel Of Beauty

Poem By Gajanan Mishra

Life -
A barrel of beauty.

Interior and exterior -
Very tasty.

Let us not split,
Not spit.

Let us stay with our own
Weight and height.

Comments about A Barrel Of Beauty

You end the poem with a telling comment: ' Let us stay with our own/ Weight and height'. I try to keep my weight down, as I dislike obesity and like to look slim. But weight gain is a problem for me, and sometimes I do not succeed. I have to keep my own height as I can't grow any taller-a rule of nature. However, I still want to be a couple of inches taller and dream that it could happen. A most thought-provoking poem, very well structured.
Concise but meaningful. Thank u sir.
