'A Bed Of Roses' Has Multiple Thorns
Even a bed of roses has multiple thorns.
by Hebert Logerie
In the Garden of Paradise, there are cherries, lemons,
Pineapples, strawberries, mangoes, and other fruits.
Man has a myriad of problems and troubles.
No one is perfect except the Great Lord.
The goal of all is to find the path to happiness.
The death of a neighbor is always full of sadness.
The departure of an imperfect Hero is mingled with glee and pain.
The ungrateful, the hypocrites, and the wicked are everywhere.
Let them protest, howl and bark; they are fools.
Even a bed of roses has numerous thorns.
It is sad to see so many ignorant and unjust ones.
