Walk In The Woods

Still amazes me when
thoughts of places I've been
the miles been traveled
the sights unraveled

but few can compare
to our travels up there
the walks that we've taken
the birds in the making
the seeds in the rain
the trust that was gained
together as one
or alone in the sun
the secrets we learned
the smell of the the sweet fern
enjoying the mood
adjusting the tudes
the flute like song of the wood thrush
hiding spots amongst the brush
there is no place I'd rather be
than to be up there & you along with me!
