Wrong Side

Poem By rahul mandal

Managing conflict, in a straightforward
and honest manner, is a proper strategy.
If you put it off and wait for another day,
it won't be good, then again, how could
it be? When you face your conflicts, you
get them off your chest, which in turn,
brings you relief. If you let them linger,
there's sure to be, some kind of grief.
It's always good, to be as straightforward,
as you possibly can, thus taking the strain,
off of you. It's truly, a better strategy and
will prevent, any kind of tragedy and you'll
feel you've accomplished, a whole lot too!

Face the problem and do not run from it....it will run after you and may overtake you with frustration!
To arrive at a proper strategy is to think before a lot and lot...and you've done it well in this poem...useful verses...thanks
Hi! I’m Eddie Roa and I just got in to this website. By chance I came across your name in the list of poets and read some of your works. Good writes. I have posted some of my poems today and a few days ago.. My style ranges from light to dark poetry (modern enough but not postmodern) and some Japanese verse forms like haiku, senryu and tanka. I hope you will bother to check out my work. Thanks and happy writing.
Why the hell arn't you in politics girl!
With the exception of the excited ending, I feel this poem could have been written by a pragmatic General as he take a brake from war to look at many of the problems facing relationships. I like it.
