A Bunch Of Fresh Nuts

Poem By Lawrence S. Pertillar

I'm out to find to get them,
Some fresh nuts.
I'm out to find to get some,
Those fresh nuts.
I'm out to find to get them.
A bunch of fresh nuts...
From under suburban skies.

In the cities they have crushed the best nuts.
And a mess was left for us to clean up.
But the nuts that were untouched,
Were given opportunities...
To flee.
And take away what they pleased...
To crack and snap in private.

I'm out to find to get them,
Some fresh nuts.
I'm out to find to get some,
Those fresh nuts.
I'm out to find to get them.
A bunch of fresh nuts...
From under suburban skies.

I'm out to find to get them,
Some fresh nuts.
I'm out to find to get some,
Those fresh nuts.
I'm out to find to get them.
A bunch of fresh nuts...
From under suburban skies.
