A Call Of Lovers

Poem By Eila Mahima Jaipaul

I still feel
where you touched me
beloved of heart and soul
I am not a love lost
beyond regaining
call to me
and I will come to you
without delay
without fail
I will come
heart open
this I swear

After reading your this poem, few lines from grat sufi poet hazrat shah abdul latif bhitai immediately came to my mind. where great sufi has drawn some beautiful poetic imageries. he says: Thristy seeks not water, Water seeks thristy. and at an-other place, he says, March in the hot and cold (weather) , There is no time to sit down. Lest, there should be a darkness. And you don't find the Foot-prints of your beloved.
Eila: I can really feel the angst and passion in this piece. You have a wonderful way with words. I look forward to reading more of your work. Blessings-TGR
