A Charm Invests A Face

A Charm invests a face
Imperfectly beheld—
The Lady dare not lift her Veil
For fear it be dispelled—

But peers beyond her mesh—
And wishes—and denies—
Lest Interview—annul a want
That Image—satisfies—

A Charm invests a face Imperfectly beheld— The Lady dare not lift her Veil For fear it be dispelled— One needs a secured and comforting relation to open up, to lift all those veils. Thanks poet.
So she will not lift her veil for any one else other than her own man of the precious moment....Emily's another good poem- 10
