A Child Unknown

Crimson snow
Is all they see
That’s all they remember
Of Mary
A beautiful child
Taunted by everyone
But a stranger knew the truth
She knew the infant
She knew her well
Growing up living
Out of the trash
A neglecting mother
Of no stature to people
Left her to die
Mary survived
Until that fatal day
When the mother came back
To end her suffering
Now there are two coffins
Lying side by side
One saying Mary
The other says Hope…
