A Day In July

If we were to die in this moment…
What would be the last thing we remember?
Would it be our eyes…?
So in love…

Or would it just be us being silly again?
Taking photos like we will
Never be young again…
Trying to cover each other's faces

It could also be me
Admiring your soft ginger hair
Or the freckles of your face
Surrounded by a loud crowd that we don't hear

This feels like
Being drunk in love
Dizzy of your scent, probably.
But I want to stay in this moment.
Forever young and in love.
