*a Devoted Gardener Of Love And Beauty

I looked upon her beauty as a flower
I hesitated to pinch her from her stem
Instead I planted myself next to her
Where I too have flourished in a sense…..

A beautiful love poem Ted I love the idea of you planting yourself next to her.
I looked upon her beauty as a flower Rachel Ann Butler
a love poem with metaphor. its meaning is rich.
Very cute. I get the picture of someone strolling through a meadow and being stopped by a lovely flower, not plucking it but instead sitting next to it in order to continue enjoying it.
Moving. I understood and related to this one quite well; I enjoyed its message. Your use of metaphor is flawless here.
