A Different Style

Poem By Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Can I write, write, write?
Dost the Muse take hold of me tonight?
Slow, slow, slow
The words through my brain dost flow.

Erratic, erratic, erratic
Wilt my brain become ecstatic?
As these thoughts into verse,
Get worse, and worse and worse.

This is a different poem,
Not in my usual style,
I have not written lately.
And never like this for a while.

Never, never, never
Again will I write like this.
Why? Why? Why?
From this style, I will definitely desist.

How? How? How?
Can I dare to you, this poem, show?
Because I wish to demonstrate,
How a different style could go.
