A Divine Image

Cruelty has a human heart,
And Jealousy a human face;
Terror the human form divine,
And Secresy the human dress.

The human dress is forged iron,
The human form a fiery forge,
The human face a furnace sealed,
The human heart its hungry gorge.

The second quad answers the first in reverse. a mirror image of personal experience and shared experience. what we create collectively is vying ambitions and this we call divine?
Aah, human nature.. I try to have faith, but...
The Divine image is really something, the author, Thomas Harris, used it in his novel Red Dragon. Along with Blake's painting, the great Red Dragon and the woman clothed with the sun. Phew! He was very gifted.
