A Dream Of The Good Shepherd

At first, I saw a crooked cane.
Then, I saw the Shepherd's hand.
He stood serene, in calming rain...
Aura encircling him, as a radiant band. I felt gratitude and bowed my head,
To be allowed this vision in midst of pain.
"Peace be with you" the shepherd said...
"Let the hope of tomorrow now sustain. This brief encounter brought a change.
The air where he appeared was pure and light.
I was in awe; the atmosphere was strange.
Many avatars then appeared, as stars bright. There was a knowing that lent courage, then.
All hopes, dreams that help a traveler unfold...
Was fed by the airy light meant to descend.
This interlude of purity could make the meek bold!
