A Fool In All His Glory

If
as they say
a fool in love
is
a fool in all his glory
then
I am he
Here amongst the golds
and russets
The rustling and the
almost holy
bareness
of the autumn trees
where greens and golds
compete
to become
the next voyager
upon the cooling
breeze
A fool indeed
but oh
the glory

A fool perhaps, but a happy fool and a great writer! Autumn - my favourite season! Regards, Lucy
Nice write Bill, I love autumn, and it does rather overwhelm you, the glory bit. Sweet poem Love Ernestine XXX
