A Fountain

Poem By Neela Nath Das

A fountain there is for
you, there is a fountain.
It can't be stopped,
can't be, by any mountain.
They turned their face from,
me, as I keep patience.
I'm patient to your words....
For you do I have tolerance?
They might whisper.
I'll say, 'No, Sir,
I can't rectify him,
can't stand him so far.
But, if I can teach
anyone, how to love,
himself, to make him rich,
at least, in love half,
with him, half with world.
To be rich not by Bread,
or, by earthly gain,
by love's silken thread! '

Comments about A Fountain

WOW...this is great! unique and very well done...
excellent write. to be rich not by bread or by eartgly gain by love's silken thread. nice
A true mind without hypocrisy alone can create a passion of the magnitude that stands before the reverses of indifference and denials. As you raise your fortress of love, the storms unlashed by the belligerents turn weak. A good and powerful write with your stamp!
Absolutely gorgeous! this touched me in its two separate lines, one you caring for someone very deeply and one your battle against the unseen ones who you both stand against... truly lovely in how much willingness and enthusiasm you offer yourself as a protector... i do hope i understand this properly...tyvm karen
