A Frantic To The Rescue

We can only give what we ourselves otherwise cannot take
We reach our own shores,
And that is apparently the point-
Apparently the point,
At which we are ready to blame the other for everything
Nothing to loose, we can choose to blame the other for everything then

Can make you wonder-
Such an ugly way of going about each other
And all the pain one can put the other through

The fact that, all this while-
Entire world surrounds you
Through the clamors of laughter and curses you pass
Pass through such throngs,
And as you scrape against a deep sigh coming from a heartfelt sorrow

You cannot help but wonder-
As to how does one shake oneself out of such a design
What is it that can get me out of this

I, for one, am waiting,
Am waiting for the frantic by the side of the road
Waiting-
For him to pick that stone lying beside him
And throw it right at my head-
Throw it right at my head, knock me unconscious of my mind in tatters, corroded by inflamed anxiety

It does make you wonder-
The fact that, we can only give what we ourselves otherwise cannot take
And all the pain one can put the other through
