A-Glow

A little boy really wanted to fly his kite,
the day was still no wind, this is not right.
So he said a small prayer that a breeze would blow
Sure enough one did come, his kite went up, his face a-glow

This poem brings me joy, I remember only too well what it was like to fly my very first kite. Thanks for the memory David---Melvina---

Gives 'go fly a kite' a whole different meaning, doesn't it. I can just see the face a-glow when the breeze finally picks the kite up into the air!
