Blue On Blue

After the rain,
The skies so blue,
The air was clean,
And seemed blue too,
The rain had painted skies deep blue,
And then I thought so much of You,
How far you are, the Ocean too,
The Sky, the Ocean, sadly Blue.

It makes me think that you can wish,
Upon a blue-lit tingling Star,
That seems so close, yet is so far,
That Love can travel to the moon,
Yet, disappear in a small room,
That Life is fragile, so is Love,
And much that's Blue is a Mirage.

A very nice and praiseworthy poem. Thanks dear Seema for such beautiful a poem. I loved these lines most. There I laugh at unfortunate time Marching towards its grave as past I know your touch shall heal my age Vanish the wrinkles of depression And crumble the bloated ego of time

'There I curse the prolific gardens Their opulence unbearable and sick I hide my swathed feelings within And envy those flowers and vines I know they all will lament and die When you arrive more enchantingly than spring! ' A marvelous poem- a marvelous journey.
