A Kiss Riot Run

Once in a time, a long time ago,
There lived a beautiful queen;
Her hair was of gold, and her aura I’m told,
Could soar from across the sea;

My lover, (my lover!) , Oh lover (thy lover!) ,
The bodies and heavens they swell;
Within my loins, a conflagration with poise,
I am resident inside of your hell;

With a love more than love, and a love more than lust,
How can I describe this feeling you bring;
I am keys to your tips, and a wave of your breath,
And a coo be the sonnet you sing

This magnificent wonder, despite all her blunder,
My lover, my flower, my queen;
But the woes of my foes, (and much-alike Poe’s) ,
Seek to asunder my wonderful queen

The soldiers they came, deployed from a vein,
Severed beneath the sheaths;
And out of the vein, came torrents of bane,
To wane thy love for thee;

The skies were dark, with shades of gray,
And a monster became the sea;
And the wind gave a growl, or much like a howl,
And it swept you away from me;

No matter their chatter, my queen was the ladder,
From me to my glorious glee;
Our love was eternal, forever inferno,
My evilest beautiful queen;

For after the storm, came blankets of warmth,
And I felt my symmetrical queen;
And wherever you glow, is wherever I go,
(Forsooth!) , you will always burn in me.

Fantastic pace in a piece seemingly upbeat and joyous until the bittersweet nature of it kicks in. Top notch writing. t x
