A Little Angel Comes Back

Anika went for a trip to the sea
And brought lovely gifts for me
Sea shells in all sizes and shapes.
With her eyebrows raised

I could tell she wanted me to feel amazed
I went along, and said wow, as I gaped.
She picked up one and put it to my ear
And said Sh, Sh, please just hear.

Put her little finger on my lips
And stood with her hand on her hips
Waited, patiently till I said it’s the ocean
She clapped with glee and joyful expression.

You know I picked these with you in my mind
I hugged her and said thank you my child.
Grand children bring joy so pure
All grand parents will vouch for it sure.

Oh yes, that is so true. I cherish every moment spent with my adorable grandchildren. They are our rewards for raising their parents! ! Loved this poem, Mamta! A '10! ' for sure! Warm Wishes, Marilyn

A beautiful poem on Anika, the little angle! The sound of the sea is so real, you can hear it once more if you read my -' Significance of the Conch Shell! ' -Raj Nandy
