A Lone Tree

A lone old oak tree
On the bank of the rice field
Stood the test of time
A witness to farmer's life
A link to an earlier time.

Loneliness! ! Nature, Strong enough. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A magnificent well-thought poem and so loaded. A 10 Full Score and much much more. Thank you so much for sharing this brilliantly well-thought poem. God's Blessings for you and your beloved family.
Enchanting poem with powerful metaphors and well laid down, to remind us that thanks to this hard-working farmer, our daily bread is well distributed on our dining table, and not only in our generation but generations before us. The most excellent thought and fitting, thanks to the oak as the chosen metaphor, because the oak can be thousands of years old and can withstand all kinds of disadvantageous species.
This is a gifted write. It carries an image and an emotion and a thought to ponder- -such an excellent trio of gifts for your readers! 10+++++++++++++ and on to my Fav list! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Our forefathers planted a tree and we are the fruits, a delicious link to the past.
