Deep In The Thicket

No doubting about it.
Some are marching forward to their own beat.
No! There's no doubt about it.
Some follow others like sheep.
And will be,
Deep in the thicket of thorns.
Pricking themselves to bleed.
They will be,
Deep in the thicket of thorns.
Pricked.

They had been warned about,
Following the steps of thieves.
They had been warned about,
Doing this for others to please.
Now they're deep in the thicket of thorns.
Pleading.

No doubt about it.
Eyes have been closed.
Minds have been long sold.
No doubt about it.
A thinking process has been defected.
And, no doubt about it.
A vacancy occupies their heads.
And, deep in thicket of thorns.
They await for promises to them told.
Pricking themselves to bleed.

Nonstop visions of a new day,
From them won't fade.
While they follow others who are fake.
Telling more lies to sell and create.
Yet...
Souls in Heaven know,
Who is awake.
And, who sleeps.
Souls in Heaven know,
How deep.
The sleep.

Deep in the thicket of thorns,
Some follow others like sheep.
And...
Deep in the thicket of thorns,
They are left.
To bleed.

Souls in Heaven know,
Who's awake.
And, who sleeps.
Souls in Heaven know,
Who sleeps just a little too deep.

Deep in the thicket of thorns,
They follow thieves like sheep.
And...
Deep in the thicket of thorns,
Left to bleed on their knees.
Moaning...
"God please."
Moaning...
"Release me."
Moaning...
"God please."
Moaning...
"Free me."

And...
This goes on.
From morning to midnight.
Until dawn.
From morning to midnight.
Until dawn.
From morning to midnight.
Until dawn.

A lovely even for the stars of respect is a nice piece of work with great effort shared on.
