A Meaningless Endeavor

Many have lived their entire lives,
Telling lies to themselves.
And others to do.
With it done to devastate,
Relationships they have created.
And in a mind like this,
What has been their creation to make...
The destroying of it,
Gives them pleasure.
Since truth to know it,
From their perspective is faked.
And lies, excuses and alibis to use,
Has more value.
Than being accused of living in denial.
By anyone attempting,
In a meaningless endeavor.
And loss of effort,
Trying to convince of a difference between...
Lies told to tell.
Deceiving and truth.
With honesty valued as a way of life.
Long have those times gone!
