A Memory

Poem By William Allingham

Four ducks on a pond,
A grass-bank beyond,
A blue sky of spring,
White clouds on the wing;
What a little thing
To remember for years-
To remember with tears!

A memory is a very good poem
A scene to memorise....
I love the vivid description and the rhyme
Man, since time's beginning, has tried to paint or write about these moments of total peace. How perfectly WA describes that moment in time.
