A Missing Love

Poem By william mae

Painted silver top the water,
Waves give movement to the moon,
Skipping rocks while I'm wishing,
For true love to find me soon.

Full of life and still I'm empty,
Loneliness fills my time,
A weeping soul, which keeps on searching,
For love to share this life of mine.

So much to say no one to listen,
A wanting need that goes unfilled,
No one to hold or share my laughter,
No love that my heart can feel.

Another night and love seems hopeless,
I search for love but cannot find,
A world that's overrun with people,
No love to link their heart to mine.

This is a very touching poem, indeed true love is hard to find. I really like the verse 'Full of life and still I'm empty', it can stand on its own to describe loneliness.. Well done HBH
