A Mistaken Death

Poem By Holly Somer

I'm very sorry mother for I did not know what I was doing
After I stabbred you with the knife
All I could see was the blood spewing
When you tried to call for help and I took the phone away
I realized I shouldn't have taken it
Because then you'd be living today
Father I am sorry for my sins
And the tears I brought to my families eyes
I should be locked up forever that sha'll be my prize

' This is about a 26 year old mentally ill man who stabbed his mom to death with a steak knife. I Did not know the family personally. But they lived a couple streets down from me. I send my condolences and hope they work out everything in their life.
