Moonlit Eyes

Her eyes lit up bright,
even in the moonlight,
her face in the dark looked beautiful,
but the love we shared wasn't typical,
she talked endlessly about how much she loved the moon,
as we sat there in the room,
sometimes i wonder if she would run,
and if it was her who would tell me we we were done,
but the truth is i don't want her leave,
because losing her would cause me to grieve,
i want nothing more than to be with her,
but then i found myself questioning if we were meant to b together,
what ever it is I'll enjoy it now,
and continue to look in her beautiful eyes that happen to be brown
