A New Year

Poem By Hopeless Heart

Another year comes around
But is there still hope to be found?
A fresh start, a clean slate
To bad it’s all too late.

All those tears that I cried
All those things so unkind,
There is nothing to wash them away
It doesn’t matter what the day,

New years,
Who cares?
Still crying,
Still dying,

All the cuts that I’ve bled
All the memorises that are dead
Nothing means anything anymore
I don’t even know what I’m here for,

I could be dead and gone,
I could be signing a different song,
I could be in a different place,
I could still be in the race,

New years,
New tears,
Still pleading,
Still bleeding,

This all feels so wrong
It’s all been too long,
I just want to leave
Or better yet – believe,

I don’t want to give up
But I’ve run out of luck,
I don’t know if I can last
With such an awful past,

New years,
Old fears,
Still here,
But what do you care?

Sleep precious
Sleep my love

From Dawn To Dusk

As the sky darkens I think of you
And all the things you said you would do
You said you would always be there
You said you would always care

Not Time Yet

A world without eyes
A world filled with lies
Truth hidden deep
Never spoken, not a peep

Hold my breath,
Close my eyes,
Waiting for the ripping
Deep inside

The Rose

The rose lying dead
Upon the drenched ground,
Bruised, hurt and broken

I Am Me

I’m crumbling from within
My minds in a continuous spin,
Round and around it goes
I’m great at hiding so no one knows
