A Night

A purple sky,
A fading light
I bathe myself
In this cloudless night.

I stroll along.
I have no fright,
The ivory moon
Is a beautiful sight.

Ravens engage
In their eternal flight.
I think it’s beautiful,
I know I’m right.

I absorb the darkness,
I rid myself of all spite.
The violet fades, the
Moon becomes bright.

The moon is full,
Nice shades of whites.
My eyes become bloodshot,
My beast, it ignites.

I think I’ll transform,
I know I might.
The werewolf awakens,
Negative emotions, I invite.

I charge out to the pasture,
To the real me’s mis-delight.
As I go to spread terror,
In this cloudless night.
