A Nightmare Without The Waking

Poem By Hopeless Heart

My whole world is spinning
I try to stop it but there’s just no winning.
It’s out of control
It’s crushing my soul
I feel like I’m slowly breaking
It’s like a nightmare without the waking,
I just want to wake up and out of this
Because at the moment it feels like I’m falling into an abyss,
And everything that’s supposed to help me
Feels like it’s setting me free
Free to fall to my fate
But not to those pearly gates,
No, I’m not that blessed
Though I could’ve already guessed
No, I’m doomed to the confines of my mind
Where there is absolutely no place to hide
Where I’ll cry and beg for anything besides
Until I’ve finally realised I haven’t died,
Then I’ll climb atop the highest tower
There’ll be no time for me to cower
I’ll jump without a second thought
And have no regrets because that’s what I was taught,
I’ll leave my body where the sidewalk ends
For people to make there amends
Where I’ll go after that no one really knows
But it has to be better than here and I’m sure it showed.

Sleep

Sleep
Sleep precious
Sleep my love

From Dawn To Dusk

As the sky darkens I think of you
And all the things you said you would do
You said you would always be there
You said you would always care

Not Time Yet

A world without eyes
A world filled with lies
Truth hidden deep
Never spoken, not a peep

Blooming

Hold my breath,
Close my eyes,
Waiting for the ripping
Deep inside

The Rose

The rose lying dead
Upon the drenched ground,
Bruised, hurt and broken

I Am Me

I’m crumbling from within
My minds in a continuous spin,
Round and around it goes
I’m great at hiding so no one knows
