A Poem For Lucky

Poem By Sranang Bromki

A world that's mourning
A heaven filled with laughter
A soldier has fallen
An angel called home

A 'lucky' shot was taken
A car was the price
A car worth the life of a man
A man that was worthy of life

Lucky is now gone
He's no longer a slave
No longer a prisoner of this world
that still can't behave

Maybe one day he'll look down with a smile
Knowing we're still marching on his songs
When his 'different colors, one people'has finally brought us all
'together as one'

To An Angry Sister

Sister, my sister
Why is it that you speak so loud?
Is it your way to be noticed?
Or your way to make yourself count?

She's The One

I’m watching her sleeping
Her face speaks of peace
No snoring, just calm breathing
Reflections of a soul at ease

De Confrontatie

Spiegeltje, spiegeltje aan de wand,
Nooit eerder was er tussen ons zo’n afstand
Dagelijks dwing je mij in jou te kijken,
Maar nee, daar begin ik liever niet aan
