A Prayer Answered

Poem By Debbie Peterson

Here I am on my knees again
Wondering this time where to begin
You answered my prayers
When you led me to him,
I'll never be all alone.

I never thought it would happen for me
To find someone who'll love me for eternity
You came into my life and you set my heart free
I can't wait for our live's to begin.

I've, never known love like this before
You've taken my heart and shown me much more
More than I ever imagined could be,
A love that would last for all time.
You opened my eyes
And you showed me something good,
I never knew love could feel this way
It's growing stronger day by day.

What started as friendship
Has grown into much more
My heart is now your's
You're the one I adore.
I'll love you forever
And you can be sure,
I'll always be your best friend.

Now as we enter our lives as one
Our journey together now has begun,
And with the Father, Spirit and Son
We'll grow old together,
From now till forever...

I've, never known love like this before
You've taken my heart and you've shown me much more
More than I ever imagined could be
A love that would last for all time.
You made my heart smile,
More than I ever thought it could.
You opened my eyes,
And you showed me something good.
I never thought love could feel this way,
It's getting stronger day by day...
Lord keep us stronger day by day.
