A Prayer For Louise

Those piercing cries of anguish,
"What are they doing to me?"
A small prison cell alone,
"My Dad don't leave me here." Vulnerable, sensitive, affectionate:
Trapped in raging turbulent oceans
Of evidence and talk, . . . and
Incomprehensible notions. A vital courageous human life
To cherish not condemn.
Pray that soon the wounds may heal
When she is home again.
