A Quite Heart Beat

Poem By Ardimus Caldwell

For the heart is strong
a powerful muscle within the body
but out the body
when given to another
its weak
the foundation for love is
misery,
pain,
thy end of it all
so shh
its your responsibility
to shield it
teach it to beat quitely
beat in secret
raise thy heart to have
a quite heart beat

Look deep in my eye's
Do you see a young man

The worst thing
is holding on to someone
who dosen't want to be held on to
a caged bird

look me in my eyes
whisper silent sweet notes to me
let them escape your mouth
let them so soft that my ears lean forward

Alone On This Road

Riding in this car unknowing what's out there
Confused
Not lost yet
Nobody behind me or in front

Fearful Lover

I don't want to worry about losing you
Being to socially connected to misguiding networks that we shape our lives to
Take a step back into the 1800's and do this like real people use to do
Instead we hide behind our self pride and become scared of getting hurt
