A Rabbit With A Habit

I'm a rabbit with a habit.
I haven't got an itch.
Like a midget who might fidget,
My whiskers have to twitch.

I'm a rabbit with a habit.
I'm healthy; I'm not sick.
Like a listener to a whisper,
My ears have got to prick.

I'm a rabbit with a habit.
It's not an easy job.
Like a nursemaid who can curtsey
My tail has got to bob.

I'm a rabbit with a habit
Which I can't seem to stop.
Like a sheepdog playing leapfrog
I simply have to hop.

I am not a funny bunny;
Standing still I just can't stand.
I'm a rabbit with a habit
And I hope you'll understand.
