O my Luve's like a red, red rose
That's newly sprung in June;
O my Luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly play'd in tune.

I did a course on activelearn about Robert Burns - and am incredibly glad I did. It was this poem that struck me first with the romantic sentimentalism of the rose and the classic similes that we still use today - melodies and roses. Forever an old favourite of mine. - EN

Poetry vociferated by a computer generated optical character recognition program is not poetry. It is mindless garbage not resembling any poetry. What a stupid thing to do!
