A Rose That Never Withers

A rose the never withers
Is a beautiful sight
Endlessly appealing
Bathing in sunlight
The pedals pristine
Ever so youthful
The stem rich with green
This flower so beautiful
The thorns are as sharp
As the first day it grew
Everyday more beauty
Everyday grows anew
I see you as that rose
That never loses it's appeal
Each day you grow more beauty
And your beauty so surreal
Your gorgeous eyes glisten
Like pedals filled with dew
Your sweet body sways
With nature's finest few
All the roses in the world
Joined as one could not contest
With the one true rose
And the grace she does possess
So when I see your face
Or gaze into your eyes
I'll see a rose that never withers
And a love that never dies

What a very moving poem Patrick, I loved it very much. Being a florist I love roses too. Sincerely Ernestine Northover
