A Simple Poem

Poem By Sue Anne

Write a poem, make it fun
Verse it right for everyone
Little children, boys and girls
Pretty teens with strings of pearls
Mums and dads, and fine young lads
Jolly grandmas and old grandads.

If you can't, that's ok
Leave it for another day

Leave them kids to play and sing
Let pretty teens do their thing.
Mums and dads stroll in the sun
Fine young lads having fun
Grandmas, grandpas with ancient tales
Of bandits, pirates, ships and sails.

Thank you Sue Anne, for sharing this delightful poem. The metre is very good and fast paced, and makesthe reader smile, as we see the images you have painted here. This actually made me smile, something I don't do too often. Love & hugs, Barbara

Time To Wake Up

Time to wake up rise and shine
Lying in bed and wasting time
Thinking of you who's far away
Hate to face another day

I look for joy I look in vain
Someone, somewhere to ease my pain
Who will comfort
Who will say?

Our 25th Wedding Anniversary

Twenty-seventh December, into God’s house
Together we came to renew our vows.
But what a shock, to our dismay
Chapel was in disarray.
