A Slash Of Blue

A slash of Blue—
A sweep of Gray—
Some scarlet patches on the way,
Compose an Evening Sky—
A little purple—slipped between—
Some Ruby Trousers hurried on—
A Wave of Gold—
A Bank of Day—
This just makes out the Morning Sky.

I believe this poem might also be about the civil war.
To unfurl a heart to a peaceful day this poem should be read first....a healing impact this gives...great...10
Mind blowing narration of the motley hues displayed in the sky at the out break of dawn and soon thereafter. Thanks for sharing here.
Playful today with this one, isn't she? It's the right tone to take when describing happy dawns and sunsets
